some people never do. i'm just really glad i'm not in highschool anymore, they liked to really drag out valentines over several days. there were heart games in the days before and then day of in the morning: flowers and candy grams are given out and then at lunch they have dating games and auctioning off of football players. the girls who get stuff seem to like taking it everywhere with them, to show off i guess.
here at least its possible to ignore it, i remembered it was valentines day because tv told me :P
